Hello! Exmouth is an independent English school for international juniors, accredited by the British Council for teaching English in the UK.
We are based in the town centre of Exmouth, a beautiful seaside town in Devon. There is a 10-minute walk to the seafront and quick travel options to access Exeter, the capital city of the county.
There are a range of shops and hospitality offerings in the town centre, plus 2 miles of golden sandy beach.

We are open all year round (apart from 2 weeks at Christmas) in our central school location. We have a second site with extra classrooms and a student lounge, opposite our main school building.
Between the 2 buildings, we have:
- Free wifi
- 9 classrooms (small, medium and large)
- a student lounge
- a group leader area
- small kitchen facilities for adults
- a hot desk for supervised computer access
We offer free water refills on site, and there are many refill stations throughout the town, so we recommend bringing a reusable bottle.
Accessibility:
We are committed to providing learning opportunities for all students. Whilst all of our classrooms are based on the 1st and 2nd floors, with stair access only, we want to ensure all visitors can be part of the experience. If you have accessibility needs, please message your agent or us so we can find suitable alternatives to welcome you and ensure you are matched with the best host home.
We also aim to adapt to all learning needs, so please inform us of any SEN (DA) needs for your student during enrollment. This includes neurodiverse elements such as autism, adhd, dyslexia and beyond. The more we know about how your child thrives, the more we can ensure they do so with us.
Our team has enjoyed sessions with the Esteem Team, to develop a variety of ways to make the classroom inclusive.
