Staying with a homestay provider in Exmouth
At Hello! Exmouth, we are passionate about immersive, truly British experiences, and what better way to improve your confidence in English than staying with a friendly, native English speaking, host during your visit and practising your conversational skills in a relaxed home environment. We offer all of our junior students full board accommodation with British homestay providers in Exmouth, within a short distance (maximum 30 minutes walk or 30 minute bus journey) of the school.
We are proud of our community of hosts and believe that they are one of the main reasons students return year on year, thanks to all the great feedback we have received!

All of our hosts have a valid DBS check (criminal record), a gas safety certificate for their home and solid references/are visited by our accommodation team regularly. They attend training workshops at our school or online forums/training videos on how to care for students and enjoy sharing ideas with each other on how to make students’ stays as amazing as possible.
Your room may be shared with other students of the same sex and similar age as yourself, speaking another native language (an individual room supplement is available on request). This is a great way to make friends, learn about other cultures and work together to improve your English. Many of our students make friends for life with their host partners.
Please note: this may not always be possible and you may get a room to yourself anyway/ be the only student in the house.
They include single mothers, elderly folk, as well as traditional families and younger couples. However, they all have one thing in common – they enjoy welcoming foreign students into their homes, and will treat you like one of their own!
If you have any concerns about your stay, we’re here to help. Where possible, we’ll cater to any requests. There is always someone available at the school to talk to about your accommodation during office hours. Moreover, we have a 24 hour line for any emergencies.
